Overall Review- 64% of the reviews for this Frigidaire toaster oven are very favorable and accompanied by a 4 or 5 star rating. The authors of those reviews feel that this is a great toaster oven capable of taking the place of your full-sized oven for most cooking tasks. They love the fast and even baking that you get with convection baking and also like that the convection fan is relatively quiet. This toaster oven is large enough to fit a 12 inch pizza.
The other 36% of the reviews were not so generous. Some people feel that there is an overall cheap feeling to this toaster oven. There is only one baking rack, which can limit the versatility of this toaster oven. However, you do have 6 different options when it comes to the position of that baking rack. This toaster oven is not as well-insulated as some of the high-end toaster ovens. It gets very hot on the outside while in use. The handle will stay cool to the touch. Even though this Frigidaire is not a cheap toaster oven, it does cost 40% less than the Breville Smart Oven (which tends to set the standard for well-insulated toaster ovens.)
A common complaint, even among the positive reviews, is that the controls are not intuitive. This is only an issue when first using the toaster oven. There was one review that expressed disappointment in the baking of a pizza when using the preset pizza function; the pizza was overcooked. Common sense should tell us that there are many different types of pizza out there with varied thicknesses and toppings. It would be impossible for one preset to be able to perfectly bake every pizza. You will need to adjust the time and temperature accordingly. See 11 Frigidaire Toaster Oven Reviews
